Caprin
The Caprini are split-hooved bipeds, sometimes horned. Their ancestral home is an island off the coast of Seelie, but they have spread widely throughout all the provinces.

They get along well with all races, they have a knack for learning languages, cultures and making themselves at home. They can interbreed with any other race. They have strong connections to the Syni people (who are occasionally indistinguishable from pure Caprini.)

They enjoy all professions, all crafts, in Setanta especially furniture production and shipbuilding. They fund a lot of trading ships to other lands.

The Caprine island was the first territory annexed into the Seelie empire. The island is walled by cliffs, the harbor is long and twisty - practically unassailable. The siege and capture of the island is legendary, but when the Caprini finally surrendered, their infrastructure was still intact. Even now, although the Seelie government rules in name, there are only a few drakes on the island. It is often suggested that the Seelie empire doesn't truly know the full extent of the Caprine island's financial assets.
