I tell a lie,
I sing the truth,
I give you my word.

There is an ice dragon sleeping on the top of the world. He turns in his sleep, he rolls a little closer. and the winter rolls with him.

See those mountains of ice; that's the leading edge of him. Take a few decades, and you can watch him breathe in and out. Take a few centuries, watch him shed granite scales over the land.

There is another ice dragon on the bottom of the world. Sometimes strange lights spread across the sky. It is the ice dragons sending dreams to each other.

Rosatum et Unicorn

A modified Apicius recipe
Take rose petals, perfect and dew free, remove the lower white part of the petals, sew into a linen bag and immerse in wine. After one week, remove the bag and replace the old petals for fresh ones. Repeat a second time and wait another week. Strain the wine through a colander, add a teaspoon of powdered unicorn horn and honey to taste. Serve.

Menehune was a tailbiter.

Will the unicorn be willing to serve thee, or abide by thy crib?
Canst thou bind the unicorn with his band in the furrow?
Or will he harrow the valleys after thee?
Wilst thou trust him because his strength is great?
Or wilt thou leave thy labour to him?
Wilt thou believe him, that he will bring home thy seed,
and gather it into thy barn?
Job, 39:9-12
